Sarah is a Liaison Librarian at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Library with specific responsibilities for the library and information requirements of the School of Nursing and the School of Optometry & Vision Science within the Faculty of Health. With over ten years of experience in academic libraries, and a strong interest in teaching with mobile-based technologies, Sarah has worked on a variety of projects exploring the use and practical implications of Augmented Reality in education. During 2017 she was the Project Officer for a collaborative research project between QUT Library and ProQuest entitled Virtual Reality Content for Higher Education Curriculum. Sarah has had a keen interest in Virtual and Augmented Reality for some time, and is excited about what the future holds for the use of Virtual and Augmented Reality in Higher Education and beyond.
